M/Y Illusion Plus (88.5m / 291.34ft) is being built by Pride Mega Yachts and is scheduled for delivery in 2018.
From what we understand, she began life as project Illusion and there was industry chat that she was sold by Fraser Yachts a few years ago and rechristened to Illusion Plus.
Pride Mega Yachts & Illusion Plus
The contemporary look was drafted by Dutch naval architects Azure Naval (who have contributed to the design of a number of magnificent superyachts such as Seven Seas and Anastasia), exterior design is by Rainsford Mann Design and the yacht’s interior has been designed by Sinot Yacht Design.
She has been customised to Chinese taste including natural stone finishes, rich wood accents and even the yacht’s length includes the number ‘8’, which is auspicious in Chinese culture as the number eight or ‘ba’ sounds like the word for prosper ‘fa’.
Illusion Plus will be capable of 20 knots with a cruising speed of 18 knots, with accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 cabins including a VIP suite.
Pride Mega Yachts is also offering two other superyacht designs – 108.8m Tomorrow and 115m Estatement – which Superyachts China will feature in future Asia Yacht Focus posts.
