Monaco Yacht Show is one of the largest yacht shows internationally and gathers the best exhibitors from leading naval architecture companies, yacht designers, boatbuilders, yacht charter and brokerage, luxury suppliers, tenders and toys.
This year, opening hours have been adjusted from 11:00am to 7:30pm to ensure visitors and exhibitors can experience the show environment at a relaxed pace.

This year, Monaco Yacht Show will present over 125 superyachts on display including 42 that will be attending in their worldwide debut. The average value of the yachts on display is now €27 million!
Last year, M/Y Illusion Plus gained a lot of media attention so we wait for more news from Asia shipyards. Representing global shipyards, the fleet this year will include the largest yacht (107-metres), with 21 vessels exceeding 60-metres in length. Some of the yachts attending MYS 2019 are:

As well, there is the Inaugural MYS Gala Event with Superyacht Awards Ceremony, the Boat International annual MYS party and charity cycle rides initiated by Blue Marine Foundation and Axxess Marine.
China & Monaco Cross-Promotion
The Monégasque Embassy in China and the Monégasque Tourist and Convention Board has worked hard to promote Monaco as a destination and support East-West cultural partnerships.
Last year, a special exhibition ‘Princes and Princesses of Monaco‘ was held in Beijing in partnership with the Grimaldi Forum and Hantang Culture. It was the first time that some of 300 exhibits had left Monégasque territory including the throne of the Sovereign Prince and a number of paintings by Renoir, Dufy and Monet. The exhibition received nearly half a million visitors backed by excellent media coverage in China.
The boost to cultural understanding is set to continue with Nice Côte d’Azur Airport inaugurating the first direct flight to Beijing with Air China, expected to open up the region to more Chinese tourists. The Air China flights will connect Beijing and Nice 3 times a week from August 2019. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is just a short helicopter flight to Monaco, or a wonderful trip along the coast to the delights of the Principality.
Chinese & SE Asian presence at Monaco Yacht Show
Monaco Yacht Show plays an important role in fostering cultural links between Monaco, China and South-East Asia. Previously, the show has partnering with a number of Asian-focused media sources such as Asia Boating, Blu Inc Media Ltd , Hantang Culture, Superyachts China and Yacht Style.
Since 2007, Hantang Culture has visited Monaco several times a year and filmed videos such as ‘The Ultimate Luxury‘ introducing Monaco’s lifestyle, culture and environmental commitments.
At MYS 2018, Superyacht TV also interviewed a number of key players within the Asian yachting sector including Lawrence Wang of Visun Group, Roger Friedrich of Pride Mega Yachts and Bart Kimman of Camper & Nicholsons Asia. Watch the Superyacht TV videos from MYS 2018 below:
Last year, the 6th edition of China Night was held at the Riva Tunnel on September 27th to coincide with Monaco Yacht Show. Under the patronage of the Monégasque Embassy in China, the Directorate of Tourism and Congress and RIVA Monaco Boat Service, the private dinner was the perfect occasion to continue dialogues between key yachting professionals and Chinese visitors.
