The show supports the growth of the yachting industry by facilitating a number of solutions that enhance visitor experience such as the Monaco Yacht Summit – held on the eve of the show it features a Q&A forum setting with industry professionals – and the Sapphire Experience whereby VIP clientele can meet brokers and visit leading yachts on display.

Upper Deck Lounge

A revamp has been made to the Upper Deck Lounge which will now be located over 2 floors – the ground floor will host luxury exhibitors such as Agresti, Amaala, Dassault Aviation, Giobagnara, Paola Lenti and Preciosa as well as a bar with outside terrace, while the first floor has a restaurant and VIP Lounge.

China & Monaco Cross-Promotion

The Monégasque Embassy in China and the Monégasque Tourist and Convention Board has worked hard to promote Monaco as a destination and support East-West cultural partnerships.

Last year, a special exhibition ‘Princes and Princesses of Monaco‘ was held in Beijing in partnership with the Grimaldi Forum and Hantang Culture. It was the first time that some of 300 exhibits had left Monégasque territory including the throne of the Sovereign Prince and a number of paintings by Renoir, Dufy and Monet.  The exhibition received nearly half a million visitors backed by excellent media coverage in China.

The boost to cultural understanding is set to continue with Nice Côte d’Azur Airport inaugurating the first direct flight to Beijing with Air China, expected to open up the region to more Chinese tourists.  The Air China flights will connect Beijing and Nice 3 times a week from August 2019.  Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is just a short helicopter flight to Monaco, or a wonderful trip along the coast to the delights of the Principality.
