The 23.9m catamaran specifically designed for the Chinese market has been launched. The exterior profile, as well as hull design and naval architecture, were developed by ER Yacht Design, while Kingship Marine created the interiors.
The new build is constructed in aluminium alloy and features a full-beam superstructure and a full-beam flybridge deck to ensure a large interior living space on board. ER Yacht Design also created the 3D structural assembly shop drawings for the superyacht. The Kingship yard, based in ZhongShan port at the center of the Pearl River Delta, has developed an elegant and contemporary interior design.
The main-deck superstructure is surrounded in glass to give the impression that the space is even larger. The main deck hosts a large salon with a dining table for 10 guests and a lounge area with armchairs and coffee tables. Forward of the main deck are two double guest cabins, each with an ensuite. The exterior area features a cozy seating area where guests can enjoy the breeze. Located on the flybridge, the round dining table seats 12 guests; who can enjoy an aperitif at the bar located forward. Two sofas with coffee table create a lounge area.
Powered by two 300hp inboard engines, she was able to reach a top speed of 19.5 knots during sea trials. Kingcat 80 fully complies with Chinese standards for yachts -CCS, as well as Lloyd’s SSC standards.
