Monaco Yacht Show is one of the most important superyacht events on the Mediterranean calendar with 120 superyachts on display, including 40 new yachts, and almost 600 exhibitors representing yacht designers, shipyards, brokerage houses, marine supplies, luxury interiors, tech and yacht toys.
Now in it’s 28th year, Monaco Yacht Show 2018 will be hosted at Port Hercules from 26th September to 29th September.

Top reasons to attend Monaco Yacht Show 2018
Monaco Yacht Show welcomes over 35,000 visitors who wish to buy or charter yachts, or explore products or services within the marine industry.

It is the ultimate yacht show to find new technology, disruptive yacht concepts, nautical accessories, superyacht toys and gadgets, or superyacht interior items including soft furnishings and luxury furniture.
The entire show is divided into different zones such as Parvis Piscine, Upper Deck Lounge, Darse Sud and Quai Antoine Ier with the Tenders & Toys displays, Art Pavilion and premium Car Deck to ensure a pleasant visitor experience.
As well as the 4-days of the show, there are a number of glittering events and charity galas that take place in Monaco in conjunction with MYS such as the London to Monaco cycle ride in support of Blue Marine Foundation, the VIP Monaco Yacht Summit and opening gala and the Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean.
Most importantly, over the course of the week you will see the world’s biggest shipyards, designers and naval architects in attendance to showcase their latest yachting projects and the newest selection of motor yachts and sailing vessels.

Promoting Monaco in China
The Monégasque Embassy in China and the Monégasque Tourist and Convention Board has worked hard over the past few years to promote Monaco as a destination and reaffirm cultural links between the Principality and the People’s Republic of China.
Of course, Monaco Yacht Show plays an important role in this with press coverage from a number of Asian-focused media sources such as Blu Inc Media Ltd and Superyachts China.
Previously, the Principality has partnered with exclusive ‘Monaco Week’ showcases in Chengdu.
This year, a special exhibition with be staged in Beijing in partnership with the Grimaldi Forum and Hantang Culture. The exhibition ‘Princes and Princesses of Monaco‘ will retrace 700 years of heritage of the Grimaldi family via 300 exhibit items and take place from September 7 to November 11, 2018. It will be the first time that some of the exhibits have left Monégasque territory including the throne of the Sovereign Prince and a number of paintings by Renoir, Dufy and Monet. It is expected to further strengthen ties between the two countries with strong media coverage across China.

China Night during Monaco Yacht Show
Last year, the 5th edition of China Night was held at the Yacht Club of Monaco on September 29th to coincide with Monaco Yacht Show, the event’s partner.
Under the auspices of the Monégasque Embassy in China and the Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority with the support of Chinese media group Blu Inc Media Ltd (China Boating, Asia Boating etc), the aim was to create a dialogue between Monaco and China, giving an ideal opportunity to present Monaco Yacht Show as a key influencer within yachting and luxury sectors.

Several groups of HNW guests attended from Monaco, mainland China and Hong Kong joining Houtai and Pride Megayachts for a wonderful China Night celebration with around 300 guests in attendance.
As well, during the show week Shanghai Hantang Culture Development, a partner of Monaco Yacht Show, hosted a press conference to celebrate their 10th anniversary edition of ‘The Ultimate Luxury‘. Their series of daily luxury and lifestyle programmes features events, film festivals and fashion galas around the world including Monaco Yacht Show, China Night and the Rose Ball.
